Blood Assurance Facing Critical Need for Donors During Fall Break

Blood Assurance is urging Chattanooga-area residents to donate as the organization’s supply of type O blood falls below one day. Local hospital needs have been higher than usual, while Fall Break has contributed to a drop in donations. Blood Assurance needs about 600 donations each day to serve local hospitals.

We will reach out to you to confirm the date of your Ribbon Cutting. Please understand there is significant interest in this program, and dates cannot be guaranteed until our Coordinator has contacted you. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.

  • Please visit the Chamber during business hours (Monday-Friday), no more than three business days prior to your event, to pick up your supplies.
  • Dates are not guaranteed until payment is received and confirmed by the coordinator.
  • Scheduling is based on availability and requires at least two weeks' advance notice.
  • A $150 security deposit check is required when collecting supplies.
  • Ribbon cuttings may be held after 3:00 p.m., seven (7) days per week.
  • Set-up, event coordination, and staffing are not included with this package.
