Lee Company is kicking off its annual Vans4Cans food drive October 19, continuing a tradition that has helped provide food to neighbors in need for more than 15 years. Through November 20, Lee Company technicians will collect canned goods and nonperishable food items from customers during service calls. Community members
Blood Assurance is urging Chattanooga-area residents to donate as the organization’s supply of type O blood falls below one day. Local hospital needs have been higher than usual, while Fall Break has contributed to a drop in donations. Blood Assurance needs about 600 donations each day to serve local hospitals.
