Lee Company is kicking off its annual Vans4Cans food drive October 19, continuing a tradition that has helped provide food to neighbors in need for more than 15 years.
Through November 20, Lee Company technicians will collect canned goods and nonperishable food items from customers during service calls. Community members can also make virtual donations at leecompany.com/vans4cans. This year’s drive will benefit food banks across Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Georgia.
Since Vans4Cans began, Lee Company employees and customers have collected more than 468,000 pounds of food to help neighbors facing hunger.
“Vans4Cans is one of the ways our employees give back to the communities we call home.” said Emily Bonomo, Director of Community Engagement at Lee Company. “It’s so rewarding to see the shared impact we can make together in our neighborhoods. And the local food banks we partner with put each of those collected cans to work to help local families.”
Collected food will be delivered to local food bank partners on November 24.
