The Taylor Haggard Foundation is hosting their 1st Annual Forever 29 race. There will be 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon distances. There will also be a memory walk to honor a loved one’s memory.

The Taylor Haggard Foundation is a local non-profit founded by Lee and Christie Haggard who lost their daughter Taylor to SUDEP (Sudden unexplained death in Epilepsy) at the age of 29. The foundation raises funds to help those in our area effected by epilepsy.

They have created a scholarship fund, give care baskets to families newly diagnosed with epilepsy or children going through scary procedures like EEG’s, provide ride share gift cards to those who cannot drive due to seizures, and host fun outings to build community for those families affected.

The race is family friendly, there will be face painters, characters and fun activities. It is on June 14th at the Hubert Frye Center at the Chattanooga Riverpark. Begins at 8:00 AM
