Sankofa Fund for civic engagement

The Sankofa Fund for Civic Engagement is a giving circle committed to funding and supporting organizations, projects, and efforts which improve Chattanooga’s Black community. The fund is housed at the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga. Members commit to donating an annual gift to the fund and collectively make funding decisions.

A Small Business Development Program for business owners and entrepreneurs focused on business education, one-on-one coaching, and connecting to resources. Designed to launch a new business or grow an existing business. No cost to participants.

National Veterans Entrepreneurship Program

The National Veterans Entrepreneurship Program (VEP) at UT-Chattanooga provides military veterans with practical training in venture creation and growth, accompanied with five months of advising from subject matter experts, all free of charge.
