The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga invites the community to Mocs Marketplace, a student entrepreneur pop-up, on Thursday, Sept. 17, from noon to 4 p.m. on Oak Street in front of Founders Hall.
The event will feature UTC students selling handmade and curated goods, including crocheted and hand-sewn items, thrifted goods, jewelry and more. Mocs Marketplace gives student entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their work and connect with customers, while offering shoppers a chance to support small, student-run businesses.
“The Mocs Marketplace pop-up has quickly become a campus favorite” said Stephanie Gillison, Marketing and Entrepreneurship department head at the Gary W. Rollins College of Business. “Not only do student entrepreneurs get exposure for their goods or services, but it also provides a space for networking and connection with the greater community.”
Mocs Marketplace is free and open to both the UTC campus community and the greater Chattanooga public.
