For nearly four decades, Leadership Chattanooga has cultivated the next generation of leaders in Greater Chattanooga. The program provides established professionals with the skills, knowledge and connections needed to drive the community’s ongoing growth and success.

This year’s cohort, comprised of 43 leaders from diverse backgrounds, began their 10-month journey in August. Throughout the program, participants engage in monthly day-long sessions focused on leadership development, community service projects, and exclusive access to Chattanooga’s top leaders.

Through these experiential learning opportunities, participants learn about the unique challenges facing the community and come together to find solutions. This year’s cohort has already completed a service project at La Paz, learning about the challenges facing the Latino community in the area.

In addition to community service, participants engaged in educational sessions focused on a range of topics, including county and state government affairs as well as early childhood through post-secondary education. They also had the opportunity to attend committee hearings and meet with state representatives during a trip to the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville.

In addition to leadership training opportunities, Leadership Chattanooga also offers avenues for building connections. The program provides participants with exclusive access to top leaders in the community and helps them establish relationships with fellow cohort members. These connections can be invaluable in advancing their careers and driving positive change throughout Chattanooga.

The program culminates with a graduation event, where the 39th graduating class of Leadership Chattanooga will be welcomed into the Alumni Association. The event promises to be an exciting evening, complete with heavy hors d’oeuvres, a full bar, and live entertainment.

The program is presented by the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, Clever Alehouse, Civil Provisions, and Bar and sponsored by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Association are proud to support this year’s cohort and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on the community.
