On Super Bowl Sunday, while the nation tuned in to watch the NFL’s final annual playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, EPB of Chattanooga aired a commercial to promote its high-speed internet capabilities and quality service to the region.

In addition to EPB products that make Chattanooga the “Gig City,” the commercial showcased some of the city’s local businesses: Bellhop Moving Services, Hoff & Pepper, and Branch Technology.

“We have quite a few football fans at Bellhop, so we had a large contingent of employees watching the game. It only took seconds for our company Slack to begin lighting up with excitement for both our brand as well as the employees who were in the shot,” Bill Chase, Chief Marketing Officer for Bellhop Moving Services, says.

The commercial also features Hoff & Pepper founders, Aaron “Hoff” and Michell “Pepper” Hoffman. The husband-and-wife duo recently moved operations out of the Chamber’s INCubator program into a new and larger warehouse.

“We’re big fans of EPB – I come from a tech background and my work has always utilized Chattanooga’s gig network,” Aaron Hoffman, Founder and Chief Flavor Officer, Hoff & Pepper says.

“When Hoff & Pepper moved into our new 30,000 square foot facility last year, we installed EPB’s mesh system and every corner of our building now has full WiFi coverage. It’s an amazing product.”

Finally, the commercial gives a fly-through look at Branch Technology, showcasing their impressive 3D printing machines on the factory floor. Dan Wykoff, Chief Financial & Operating Officer, expressed his gratitude for being featured in the commercial: “It gave a glimpse into our factory, briefly showing our fleet of 3D printing robots and one of the prototype lunar habitats from our contract with NASA. We’re all grateful for EPB’s recognition of our innovative technology,” he says.

EPB‘s Super Bowl commercial not only highlighted its commitment to providing high-speed internet to the community but also showcased the innovative and thriving small businesses that make Chattanooga the incredible city it is today.
