The Chattanooga Area Food Bank welcomes seven members to its 2025 Board of Directors. Jennifer McIntyre chairs the board for the second year in a row.
“I am so grateful this outstanding group of community leaders is willing to give their time and talents to help lead this organization,” said McIntyre. “The food bank continues to see an increased need among our neighbors in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia, and it takes a committed group to work with our president and CEO, Melissa Blevins, to help end us hunger.”
Other board officers include Vice Chair Tracey Smith, Secretary Harriette Stokes, and Treasurer Murphy Sauceman.
New to the board this year are members Ellie LaPorte, Alisa Basaraba, Carol George Hieronymus, Justin Grierson, Ken Mitchell, C.J. Recher, and Andrea Lyons.
“I’m thrilled to welcome our new Board of Directors. Our board exemplifies a core belief of the food bank that the greatest impact happens in collaboration,” said Blevins. “This is an extraordinary collection of leaders from across Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia who are passionate about ending hunger in our communities.”
