CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2027 Community Health Improvement Grants. Through this program, CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital will fund programs delivered by collaborating 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations working to address significant community
health challenges and advance health equity in the Chattanooga area.
These annual grants support projects that directly improve community health and strengthen local systems. Funding is available for initiatives supporting areas of high need in our community.
Key Application Information:
- Applicant Eligibility: Must be an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization primarily serving populations within CommonSpirit – Memorial Hospital’s service area.
- Program Focus: Proposed programs must align with areas of high health need.
- Project Duration: Programs should involve sustained activity over a 9 to 12−month period, slated to begin April 1, 2027.
The application period is now open and will close on September 18, 2026. All applications must be submitted online via the CommonSpirit Health grant portal.
