Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) today announced Mark Stewart as the Chattanooga Market President, overseeing Commercial Banking for Truist in the community. 

Stewart enters this new role with more than 35 years of commercial banking experience, 25 of those years being in the Chattanooga market, leading teams in delivering customers with comprehensive financial solutions including lending, treasury management, merchant services and equipment financing. As Market President, he will direct client management and business development activities, as well as integrate Truist lines of business throughout Chattanooga. 

Beyond his career at Truist, Stewart is involved with the United Way, Executive Circle of the Chattanooga Chamber, International Business Council for the Chamber, Downtown Rotary, and other civic organizations.

Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
