Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp is excited to invite the community to the Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, November 30th, at the Hamilton County Courthouse lawn located at 625 Georgia Avenue. This event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with family-friendly activities and festive entertainment.

The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a variety of activities, including face painting, holiday-themed games, and a showing of a holiday movie. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa and the Chattanooga Elf. The official ceremony will start at 5:15 p.m. and will feature musical performances and remarks from Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp and Commission Chairman Jeff Eversole.

Free hot chocolate will be provided to children, and several food vendors will be on-site, so attendees can enjoy delicious treats while taking in the holiday spirit.

The Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is free and open to the public.
