He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Health Care Social Workers (TSHCSW) and a past recipient of the TSHCSW Chattanooga Chapter Social Worker of the Year award. Ellis graduated from the University of Tennessee with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work.
