Here at the Chamber, we offer many options for dues payment. But we understand that in today’s digital security environment, some of our members may be hesitant to click on emails involving financial transactions.

Fortunately, there are a few steps you can take to ensure an email’s authenticity when you receive your dues invoice.

First, and most importantly, check the sender. All Chamber billing emails will come from this email address: [email protected].

Additionally, all official Chamber emails will come from the chattanoogachamber.com domain. If you receive an email from a third-party domain, like Gmail, asking you to make a purchase (such as offering to sell you a membership list) it is not legitimate.

Second, check the content of the email. Our billing emails will always offer multiple ways to pay, including direct contact via email or phone. We also won’t use high-pressure, time-sensitive tactics. For instance, “act now or your account will be deleted.”

Finally, check the bottom of the email. Billing emails from the chamber will always provide contact info for a real person. You can always reach out to this  person directly, to confirm the validity of the email before you respond.

Of course, you can also always reach out to us and request that a physical invoice be mailed to you. We want to make your member experience as frictionless as possible.

If you have questions or suspicions about an email you’ve received that appears to come from the Chamber, please reach out to Dustin Harris, our Senior Director of IT at [email protected].
