Adam Myers will serve as Vice President, Economic Development, Charles Wood, President and CEO, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, has announced.

“Adam’s decade-plus of experience in both the public and private sectors and a strong track record in economic development is a great addition to our senior leadership team,” Wood said.

Now committed to fostering economic prosperity in Chattanooga and Hamilton County, Myers’ career has been dedicated to attracting investment, driving job creation, and generally elevating the business environments where he has worked.

“Chattanooga has already established itself as a hub for innovation and growth, and I look forward to collaborating with local businesses and organizations to further elevate the region’s economic landscape,” Myers said.

Prior to joining the Chattanooga Chamber, Myers served as Director of Business Development for The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council.

Myers holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of West Florida and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and a member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
