The INCubator is proud to host Borrowing for Small Businesses: Financial Literacy Part 3, an in-person workshop designed to help entrepreneurs take the next step in their financial journey by understanding how to access and prepare for business funding. This session is the third and final installment in a three-part financial literacy series focused on strengthening business finance knowledge for early-stage and growing companies.

Financial Literacy Part 2 focused on strengthening the internal financial health of a business, covering topics such as managing cash flow, planning for sustainable growth, and implementing protection strategies. Building on those concepts, Financial Literacy Part 3 shifts the focus outward to capital readiness and financing. Using the Truist curriculum “Borrowing for Small Businesses,” this session will explore where to find funding, what lenders look for during the borrowing process, and how to create a strong borrowing profile.

By connecting the financial management principles introduced in Part 2 with borrowing strategies in Part 3, this workshop will help entrepreneurs better position their businesses for growth and long-term success.
